Koza World of Sports (WOS) player, Dayana Yastremska from Ukraine, has returned to Istanbul after an extremely successful slam performance in Melbourne. As one of the world’s best 15-year-olds, Dayana reached the singles quarterfinals and doubles final at the Australian Open Junior Championships, an amazing achievement at the 18&U event.
Currently ranked world no.19 in juniors, Dayana has made Koza WOS her training base since 2015 and is very happy to be back in Istanbul, calling it her second home. She is preparing herself before leaving to Brazil for a combination of ITF events. She will then return to get ready for the 2016 WTA TEB BNP Paribas Istanbul Cup starting on the 16th April.
“I am so excited to play my first WTA tour event at the Istanbul Cup in April,” Dayana says. “It is amazing to be able to play the best players in the world at my training venue. I love being in Istanbul and at Koza WOS and feel like it is home every time I return. I hope that tennis fans in Turkey will come to the TEB BNP Paribas Istanbul Cup and support me.”
