No. 3 seed Camila Giorgi has been forced to withdraw from the 12th edition of the TEB BNP Paribas Istanbul Cup due to an injury.
World no 31. Giorgi was set to take on Barbora Strycova. Following Giorgi’s withdrawal Viktoria Kuzmova moved as No. 9 seed.
Last two year’s semifinalist Irina-Camelia Begu has also withdrawn from the event and been replaced by lucky loser Timea Babos.
