Polish Urszula Radwanska and Ukrainian Lesia Tsurenko beat their opponents to proceed to semifinals in TEB BNP Paribas İstanbul Cup. Urszula Radwanska answered the questions of the media after the victory.

At Garanti Koza Arena, Radwanska beat Pironkova 6-2/3-6/7-6(5). Radwanska was very lucky in the match point because ethe ball bounced from the net and landed to the opponent’s court. However, she told that this match was very hard and Pironkova played well.

Urszula Radwanska said: “I was lucky in the match point. I am happy to win a match that my opponent competed well for.

Emphasizing that she is very cheerful to play in the semifinal after 3 years, Radwanska said: “2 years ago I had an operation from my shoulder and know I am climbing the stairs again. Previously I won doubles with my sister in Istanbul and my sister had won singles too. I have had so many good memories and I want to add more when I am leaving.
